If you are looking for the peace and quiet of the wilderness and wish to sleep in a tent over night, you will find the national park of Kolovesi, the protected area on Lake Kermajärvi and the maze of the Joutenvesi archipelago interesting. If, on the other hand, you are planning a guided full service canoe excursion as a part of a business incentive trip, it is a good idea to select the Simanala Ulpukka route or, for example, a canal route from Valamo monastery to Varistaival. The independent canoeist also has the option of utilising the catering and accommodation services of the Norppa Team member companies adjacent to the routes.
